Safe Disposal of Unwanted Medication

Medicines that are past their expiry date, or are no longer required, can be taken to any pharmacy to be disposed of safely. You can also recycle your inhalers so return them to your local pharmacy too.

Make sure to read the labels on your medicines and check the expiry dates. Remove them from your home, and return them to Lockwood pharmacy, where the pharmacist will put them in a secure bin for collection and safe disposal.

To avoid any injury, please ensure that any sharps or needles are placed in a suitably sealed plastic box prior to returning to the pharmacy.
